2020: Our family of three finally moved to Dresden, Germany.  

You might remember that year was somewhat unusual . . . needless to say, we experienced a bumpy start to our new life!

Nonetheless. Life is what happens when you’re busy making plans, right?

2024: We’re settled and are now a family of four.

We’ve road tripped through Eastern Europe, Portugal, Australia and the Balkans.

I’ve learned more than I could imagine about myself and what it means to be parenting in a different context.

I thought that my professional life as a social worker had equipped me well to manage challenges and changes in life.

Nothing prepared me for raising bi-lingual kids abroad.
